The 2008 TREX Decking World Championships will consist of four U.I.M. sanctioned classes and two classes specific to the local organizing association. 

Participating classes are as follows;

RedRum Unlimited Class
• Hull any shape or material with a minimum length of 16 feet (4.88m)
• No engine restrictions or modifications, any exhaust with mufflers
• Propulsion – jet drive
• Roll bar must meet U.I.M. criteria

VSR Industries A Class
• Hull any shape or material with a minimum length of 16 feet (4.88m)
• Engine displacement shall not exceed 470 cubic inches (7700 cc)
• Engine shall use gasoline for fuel, any exhaust with mufflers
• Propulsion – jet drive
• Roll bar must meet U.I.M. criteria

Benjamin Moore B Class
• Hull any shape or material with a minimum length of 16 feet (4.88m)
• Engine displacement shall not exceed 366 cubic inches (6000 cc)
• Engine shall use gasoline for fuel, any exhaust with mufflers
• Propulsion – jet drive
• Roll bar must meet U.I.M. criteria

Owens Corning D Class
• Hull any shape or material with a minimum length of 14 feet (4.26m)
• Engine shall only be a Mercury Sport Jet 2 Stroke V6 2.5l, max. 240HP. No engine modifications allowed and all engine parts must remain stock OEM. Maximum rebuild 0.020”
• Engine shall use gasoline for fuel
• Propulsion – Jet Drive, all pump parts must remain stock OEM no modifications. Impellers and wear rings may be rebuild to restore original specifications. The use of spacers and/or wedges to modify the angle of the water output is allowed.
• Roll bar must meet U.I.M. criteria
• Exhaust – Stock from manufacturer, no modifications allowed

Dutch Bros. Coffee Small Block FX
Crate ZZ4
• Hull any shape or material with a minimum length of 14 feet (4.26m)
• Engine – Chevrolet ZZ4 355 HP crate engine. (GMPP long block part number 24502609) Rebuilt motors must meet OEM specifications & weights. A spec sheet must be filled out for any motor being rebuilt in this class (all specs the same as crate motor) max rebuild 0.030,any oil pan, no roller rockers allowed, No porting or modifications anywhere, any ignition, and no dry sump or vacuum pump allowed
• Cylinder head combustion chambers must equal 58 cc.  Piston/Head/Gasket combination must not exceed a 10:1 compression ratio.
• Valve Springs must be same size and pressure as stock production springs.  Spring type is Single Coil 1.32" (33.528 mm) Outside Diameter.
• Camshaft performance is not to exceed performance of the original “ZZ4” engine stock camshaft.  Camshaft duration (@.050 in):  208 degree intake / 221 degree exhaust.  Camshaft lift (in):  0.474” (12.0396 mm) intake / 0.510” (12.954 mm) exhaust.
• Crank, Connecting rods, and pistons must be of stock weight and appearance.  No modifications or lightening allowed.
• Any commercial style (or stock off-the-shelf) carburetor, not exceeding 750 CFM & 1”spacer thickness max. 3-0.060 gaskets allowed
• Engine shall use gasoline for fuel, any exhaust with mufflers
• Any dual plane intake manifold
• Propulsion – jet drive
• Roll bar must meet U.I.M. criteria

Modified ZZ4
• Hull any shape or material with a minimum length of 14 feet (4.26m)
• Engine -- Chevrolet ZZ4 355 HP crate engine or Ford GT 40 351, 360 HP engine or Dodge Magnum 380, 360 CID.  A spec sheet must be filled out for any motor in this class; max rebuild is 0.030 over or 355 ci. (Chevy), any oil pan, no roller rockers allowed, any ignition, and no dry sump or vacuum pump allowed
• Piston/Head/Gasket combination must not exceed a 10.5:1 compression ratio.
• Camshaft performance is not to exceed performance of the original “ZZ4” engine stock camshaft.  Camshaft duration (@.050 in):  208 degree intake / 221 degree exhaust.  Camshaft lift (in):  0.474” (12.0396 mm) intake / 0.510” (12.954 mm) exhaust.
• Any commercial style (or stock off-the-shelf) carburetor, not exceeding 750 CFM & 1”spacer thickness max. 3-0.060 gaskets allowed

Lucky Bear Casino Big Block FX ZZ502
• Hull any shape or material with a minimum length of 16 feet (4.88m)
• Chevrolet ZZ502 502 HP crate engine or Ford 460 Cobra Jet 485 HP engine.  A spec sheet must be filled out for any motor being run in this class.  Compression level must not exceed 9.6:1.

• Propulsion – jet drive
• Carburetor – any 850cfm stock off-the-shelf carburetor.
• Engine shall use gasoline for fuel, any exhaust with mufflers
• Roll bar must meet U.I.M. criteria
