There will be a Jet Boat Show & Shine and inspection.  All 2008 Trex participants are required to attend.

This course will contain class level I, II, and III sections.  Please pre-run the Lower section of this course as it is full of multiple class III rapids with dangerous rocks.

** No boat will be allowed to exit or be removed from the river at Baker Park during any part of the lay over unless permission is granted by the Chief Race Inspector for mechanical repair reasons that can not be addressed in the water.  Baker Park is limited to parking and maneuvering of trailers.  There will be absolutely no refueling at Baker Park either. **

Note to public:  The Rogue River from Baker park to Alameda Campground will be closed from 8:30 am until 10:00 am.

Friday, May 23      12:00 pm      Alameda to Baker Park      Rogue River      28 miles
    Leg 8    Driver’s meeting at 11:30 am at Baker Park
Leg 8 will begin at Alameda Campground and continue upstream to Baker Park.   The staging box and finish line will be completely marked by the appropriate buoys.  Boats will start in 30 second intervals and each boat must enter the staging area off of plane 15 seconds prior to their designated start time.  Failure to do so will result in a 5 minute penalty.

Monday, May 26      1:00 pm                        Boatnik Hydroplane Races            Baker Park
Boatnik will run the 50th annual hydroplane race.  Cal-Ore Hydroplane racers will race two laps from Baker park to Robertson Bridge and back.
